Certified by the Department of Social Services, to provide training statewide to Administrators and staff of residential care facilities for the developmentally disabled, mentally ill, and elderly, Mr. Hausey is the President/Owner of Willie Hausey Training Institute.

Founding member of the California Taskforce on Multicultural Health, he introduced legislation that created the Minority Unit in the Department of Health Services to address minority health needs.

With community as the nucleus for formulating ideas and entities, Willie Hausey has served for over thirty years in civic and community affairs for the betterment of all people, including: the Senior Citizen’s Action Committee; Criminal Justice Brain Trust Committee; Community Action Program; Sacramento Chamber of Commerce Crime Prevention Task Force; Golden Empire Health Planning Council; American River Hospital Advisory Board; United Cerebral Palsy; founding member of Foundation Health Plan; Sacramento County Grand Jury; Sacramento County Welfare Commissioner; and the Sacramento County Welfare Advisory Committee; Chairman of the Sunrise Park and Recreation District Advisory Board of Directors; NAACP(Life Member); a Charter Member of the California Task Force on Multicultural Health; President of the Sacramento Area Economic Opportunity Council; Golden Empire Council of the Boy Scouts of America; and a Veteran of the Korean War (with honorable discharge).
